When Jason Bateman asks her “is crying easier for you now you have kids?” Fey, the mother of two girls, aged 9 and 3 says “Yeah, It opened my black heart”
So far I’ve watched This Is Where I Leave You twice at the movies and I’m already looking forward for the DVD release so I can watch it countless times and enjoy all the extras :D
Needless to say, I loved the movie and everyone in it. Of course I’m biased but the cast had great chemistry and I enjoyed how, in the end, the siblings were all there having each other’s back. Wendy and Judd’s relationship was my favorite thing. I didn’t remember them being this close in the books, so it was a pleasant surprise.
The audience at the movie theatre really seemed to like the movie too (they laughed out loud during a great portion of the movie) and most of my friends also loved it (one only thought it was an okay movie but we all agreed that she doesn’t know better).
"There are things that come along with getting older. You get really good at not taking things personally. When you see people acting or behaving a certain way, you don’t do what you did in your 20s, which is assume it’s because of something you did or there’s something wrong with you. You just watch it the way you would watch a child having a tantrum." x x
